Rob Soucy is a film director based in New York City. His career in the arts started at 16-years-old when he dropped out of high school to tour the world professionally in rock bands. After releasing several albums and working as a roadie for Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, Rob’s music career led him into directing music videos where he worked with a wide-range of Grammy-Winning artists like Blink-182 and Carrie Underwood.

Rob’s unique sense of humor brought him into directing commercials. His strong visual storytelling skills and ability to punch up a joke have made his work recognized at Cannes, The Addy’s, and The Webby Awards. He’s directed NFL Super Bowl commercials and his first documentary short film “O Velho do Rio”, just premiered at “The American Documentary Festival”. Rob is bi-lingual, a dual citizen of Brasil, OSHA certified to drive a forklift, an ordained minister, a guest lecturer at “The School of Visual Arts” in NYC and a seasoned trout fisherman.
